 A little about me:

I have moved more times than I care to count. When people ask me where I'm from, I shrug. Then generally answer with where ever I am currently living. As of today, that is New Bern, NC! I have absolutely fallen in love with this little town. It is exactly the type of idyllic place I have always wanted to live.

I went to Radford University, and got the most useless degree known to man; Art History. As my father would say, "It's history. It's legitimate!"

(I'm not sure if you know, but Kate Middleton received a degree in Art History. So, if all else fails, I am sufficiently prepared to be a princess. I'm totally OK with that.)

However, although there were not a lot of avenues to explore career-wise, I don't regret my decision at all. I LOVE art history. I am passionate about beautiful things, and love learning about the people and processes behind great art. 

Reading is my one great love (you know, other than my amazing husband and adorable son).

I love to discuss books with people, and get their opinions and feedback. I'm also a huge fan of reading books on my friend's recommendations. That is what I am attempting to do here; bring more amazing books into your life!
