Weekend Recap

Happy Monday, friends! We have a super busy day ahead of us...Hubs starts his new job, I have an interview, and D is staying with his uncle (my brother) for the first time! The busy day makes me appreciate this past weekend even more. Lots of fun and relaxation!

Saturday, D stayed with his Gammy while hubs and I hiked Mt. Helena! It's about a 2,000 foot hike up, putting us about 6,000 feet above sea level at the top. Despite the imminent threat of mountain lions and a few icy patches, we had a great time!

Sunday was beautiful, 65 degrees and sunny, so we spent a good portion of our afternoon in the backyard! D has been a little fussy the past few days (tooth #3 coming in!) so I think the fresh air really did him some good.

Overall, a really awesome, relaxing weekend! And a great way to end our 2 months of fantasy-land...it's back to reality tomorrow!

How was your weekend?

  2. It looks like a fabulous weekend out, minus the mountain lions. That signpost would scare the creeps out of me. I love being out and about in the forest, and I'm so glad we don't have any dangerous animals over here. Well we do have wild boars, but not much around here compared to further south in the country.

    1. Yeah we were a little creeped out by that too, but my husband is super prepared guy, and that backpack he's carrying has weapons and pepper spray in it lol. We were prepared!!
